Insomniac.

I couldn’t sleep last night. Not at all. I don’t know what the issue was. I was up off & on all night long, then at 4:30 am I woke up for good. I couldn’t fall back to sleep.

We I reorganized our bedroom yesterday & maybe having the bed facing a new way threw me off. Maybe not. All I know is that I couldn’t sleep & I hated every second of it.

Now it’s 8:30 am & I am exhausted. Of course. I have a ton to do today, because we are leaving tomorrow for a few days & all I want to do is sleep. That is not ok. I have to get started on cleaning, packing, shopping, etc & sleep is not an option.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get over not being able to sleep during the night but being exhausted in the day?!

I hate not being able to sleep or waking up too early! Sometimes I wake up like 20 minutes before my alarm goes off and I MAKE myself stay in bed!

I'm usually a good sleep though (don't hate me). My husband gets so mad because I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow and he's awake tossing and turning.

On nights when I can't sleep I take a sip of antihystamine. It knocks me out. lol

I was that way too lastnight!!?? I was antsy or something.. I dunno!
But it stinks. No help here, sista. Although, I may return to see if you get some good advice.

What woke you up? i usually wake up and have to pee and then lay there and think about something that gets my mind deep in thought and i try to say-- stop thinking!! Doesn't work and then I just lay there mad. i'm sorry you lost sleep.... nothin worse!

Hey! Where are you going?! Also why do I not know anything about your life anymore?! Also sorry you've not been sleeping. Have a baby, that oughta cure it...or help you sleep when you have the chance...I love you.

I am ALWAYS exhausted. There will be nights when I sleep 10+ hours and I still wake up tired. It's just kind of something I've learned to live with.

I will say something that helps me STAY asleep is room darkening shades or a mask (I've used makeshifts of both, I've never actually purchased either item, lol) and that helps for when the sun is coming up. Once the sun is up, I'm up. It's bogus! Anyway, maybe that will help for you!
