It's officially hot outside.
With windows open & fans going the coolest we can get our house to is 72 degrees.
[But usually it's more like 77.]
That's just too warm for comfort.
So it's time for us to look a little trashy with our window A/C unit.
It keeps us cool, so whatevs.
Judge us.
We've come to terms with it.

Now it's a nice 69 degrees in here & continuing to cool down.
I love it.
Who cares if we look a little ghetto for 2 & 1/2 months of the year?
At least we are cool [literally & figuratively].

You crack me up! No seriously! I see why you think that now, I didn't realize your window is open on the top. Ha ha NOW I get it...but it's still not trashy. Not to worry dear friend. We'll get ours in soon and then we can be white trash twins.
Being cool ranks WAY above looking ghetto! And I don't think your window looks trashy at all! We used to have a window unit in our bedroom because my husband worked during the night so it was really hard to keep our room cool enough to sleep during the day.
Ya gotta do what cha' gotta do! I am in a A/C war with my hubs.. 72 is nice.... but anything higher is like torture!
