Water Park!!

Today Sami, Bret, & I met Kyle & Bisby in Thermop to go to the water park! When I say "water park" please do not think of Water World or 7 Peaks, but instead think of Star Plunge - a two slide wonder. There is one indoor slide & one outdoor slide. I know - it's not the best water park in the world! But it's time outside, in the sun, in a pool, with family! You can't really beat that [unless you go to one of the above mentioned parks...]! Also, did I mention it's in a natural hot spring? So the water is nice & warm!...and stinky. But let's forget about that part. Who cares if we came home smelling like sulfur. Big deal. Take a shower.

We got there at about 11 this morning & played until 4:45! It was seriously so much fun. Those two slides can keep a person occupado for hours!

The outdoor slide is about half way up a mountain & let me tell you - my quads are killing me! It sure showed that I was older than everyone I went with because I was in pain & they were running up the path to go again. I need people my age to come so I don't feel so old!

The indoor slide is enclosed and goes around the outside of the building so it is HOT in there. I mean really hot. The tube is sitting in the sun all day getting heated up & the water is naturally hot due to the hot spring, so yeah - it's like a sauna in that slide. Needless to say I did it twice & that was enough.

At about 2 we sat down on our lounge chairs and had some lunch. Get this - Lunchables & Capri Sun! Nothing compares to playing in the water all day & eating lunch like a kid!

We applied sunscreen religiously, but we are all still a little "spicy" [as Sami calls it]. We have tan lines to prove that we spent the day in the sun playing in the water & I've heard red skin is so in these days.

I love having my siblings here & spending time with the family during the summer!
